The Penrose stairs or Penrose steps, also dubbed the impossible staircase, is an impossible object created by Lionel Penrose and his son Roger Penrose.A variation on the Penrose triangle, it is a two-dimensional depiction of a staircase in which the stairs make four 90-degree turns as they ascend or descend yet form a continuous loop, so that a person could climb them forever and never get any higher. This is clearly impossible in three dimensions.

The "continuous staircase" was first presented in an article that the Penroses wrote in 1959, based on the so-called "triangle of Penrose" published by Roger Penrose in the British Journal of Psychology in 1958. M.C. Escher then discovered the Penrose stairs in the following year and made his now famous lithograph Klimmen en dalen (Ascending and Descending) in March 1960. Penrose and Escher were informed of each other's work that same year.[2] Escher developed the theme further in his print Waterval (Waterfall), which appeared in 1961.
It was also appeared in some movies like inception which is one of my fav movie.
Though its still practically impossible to make such stairs.

SpaceX

Hey guys hope you all are good.Today I shall write about SPACEX.

I think very few people know about this but it is playing a mojor role in mars collonization. 

SpaceX-

Space Exploration Technologies Corporation, better known as SpaceX, is an American aerospace manufacturer and space transport services company headquartered in Hawthrone, California, United States. It was founded in 2002 by Trsla Motors CEO and former Paypal entrepreneur Elon Musk with the goal of creating the technologies to reduce space transportation costs and enable the colonization (hospitable for human habitation ) of mars.

It has developed the Falcon 1 and Falcon 9 launch vehicles, both designed to be reusable, and the Dragon spacecraft which is flown into orbit by the Falcon 9 launch vehicle to supply the International Space Station (ISS) with cargo, and spaceX is the first private company to send a spacecraft (Dragon) to the ISS, in 2012.

SpaceX's achievements also include the first privately funded, Liquid-propellant rocket (Falcon 1) to reach orbit, in 2008, and the first private company to send a spacecraft (Dragon) to the ISS, in 2012. The launch of SES-8, in 2013, was the first SpaceX delivery into geosynchronous orbit, while the launch of the Deep Space Climate Observatory (DSCOVR), in 2015, was the company's first delivery beyond Earth orbit.
SpaceX began a privately funded reusable launch system technology development program in 2011 and, in December 2015, successfully returned a first stage back to a landing pad near the launch site and accomplished a propulsive vertical landing. This was the first such accomplishment by a rocket on an orbital trajectory. On April 8, 2016, with the launch of CRS-8, SpaceX successfully vertically landed a first stage on an ocean drone-ship landing platform on a mission that also delivered a Dragon space capsule to Low Earth Orbit. On May 6, 2016, SpaceX again landed a first stage, but on a geostationary transfer orbit mission, another first.

NASA awarded the company a Commercial Orbital Transportation Services (COTS) contract in 2006, to design and demonstrate a launch system to resupply cargo to the International Space Station (ISS). SpaceX, as of July 2016 has flown nine missions to the ISS under a cargo resupply contract. NASA also awarded SpaceX a contract in 2011 to develop and demonstrate a human-rated Dragon as part of its Commercial Crew Development (CCDev) program to transport crew to the ISS.
In September 2016, SpaceX's CEO Elon Musk unveiled substantial parts of the launch vehicle, spacecraft, and mission architecture of the Interplanetary Transport System program, an ambitious privately-funded initiative to develop spaceflight technology for use in interplanetary spaceflight, and if demand emerges, could lead to sustainable human settlements on Mars over the very long term.
SpaceX has given many scientists their platform they were looking for.
It had some failures too like failed launches,pad explosoins etc but it is a great initiative towards future and NASA is also collaborating with SpaceX.

Li-Fi Technology

Hey guys its my first post on my blog.Hope you will enjoy and get an idea about the technology I am going to talk about.
I am going to talk about Li-Fi technology, I think most of you already know about this but for those who don't know here it is.



Li-Fi Technology
                                                         Li-Fi means 'light fidelity'.It is a high-speed and fully networked wireless communication technology similar to Wi-Fi and is a form of visible light communication.
It is wire and uv visible-light communication or infrared and near ultraviolet instead of radio-frequency spectrum, part of optical wireless communications technology, which carries much more information, and has been proposed as a solution to the RF-bandwidth limitations.
Harald Haas, coined the term "Li-Fi" at his TED Global Talk where he introduced the idea of "Wireless data from every light.He is the co-founder of pure li-fi.
This technology uses light from light-emitting diodes (LEDs) as a medium to deliver networked, mobile, high-speed communication in a similar manner to wi-fi The Li-Fi market is projected to have a growth rate of 82% per year from 2013 to 2018 and to be worth over $6 billion per year by 2018.


Visible-light communication (VLC) works by switching the current to the LEDs off and on at a very high rate, too quick to be noticed by the human eye. Although Li-Fi LEDs would have to be kept on to transmit data, they could be dimmed to below human visibility while still emitting enough light to carry data. The light waves cannot penetrate walls which makes a much shorter range, though more secure from hacking, relative to Wi-Fi. Direct line of sight is not necessary for Li-Fi to transmit a signal; light reflected off the walls can achieve 70 mbps.,which is almost 100 times that of wi-fi.
